Frequently asked questions
Is there a time limit on the free plan?
No. Your first house is free for life, with no credit card needed. You get the calendar and its stay rules, expenses, recurring tasks, inventory, notes and practical information, with unlimited members.
What does the €49/year subscription unlock?
On your first house: multiple administrators, role delegation module by module, and sync with external calendars (iCal, Airbnb…). Upcoming advanced features are included.
Why does an additional house cost more?
Because you're not paying for the same thing. The €49 adds features to a house that already works. The €89 fully unlocks one more house: without a subscription, it stays viewable, but nobody can make changes to it.
Do members have to pay anything?
No. One subscription covers the house and all its members, however many there are. Split between five people, a house at €89/year comes to less than €1.50 per person per month.
Where do I subscribe, and can I cancel?
From your Cazmate account at app.cazmate.com, or from the iOS and Android app. Any member of the house can subscribe, guests included, and the subscription covers the whole house. It's annual with no commitment: you can cancel at any time wherever you subscribed (your billing area for card payments, or your App Store or Play Store settings for a purchase made on a phone).
What happens if I stop paying?
Your first house simply goes back to being free: you keep everything except the advanced features. An additional house, on the other hand, becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and everything comes back if you resubscribe.
