Features

An overview of the tools available to organise your shared house.

How does the shared calendar work?

The calendar brings all the stays at your house together in one place. Every member can submit a booking request; approval is optional (by an admin, by a member with the delegated Calendar role, or automatic). You'll find month, schedule and day views, rooms and beds, stay rules, financial contributions, school holidays and bank holidays. Everyone sees availability in real time. Adding stays to your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar is free; syncing with external calendars (iCal, Airbnb…) is included in Premium.

How do I manage shared finances?

Add your expenses, say who's sharing them and Cazmate works out the split automatically. Everyone can see what they owe and what they're owed. You can customise the splitting rules to suit the way you organise things.

How do I organise tasks and house works?

Keep track of jobs on the house with photos, comments and a budget. For everyday jobs, create task lists, including recurring tasks, and assign each task to one or more members. Cazmate sends automatic reminders. You can also create stay checklists that are triggered automatically on every arrival or departure.

How do I use the inventory and the shopping list?

List everything in your house: cleaning products, tools, food supplies. Every member can view and update the inventory. Scan barcodes to add products quickly. The shopping list is shared in real time.

How does the notebook work?

Gather documents, instructions, memories and stories in themed notebooks, with photos and attached files. Members create and read notes; guests can read notes visible to everyone, but can't create any. The Guestbook sits alongside the calendar: guests can write in it freely.

How do I manage useful contacts?

Contacts live in the practical information, along with the Wi-Fi, codes and access, house instructions and photos. Members and admins can add and edit contacts. Emergency contacts are shown first and are always visible to guests; for the others, you choose whether guests can see them or not.
